1
اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا
allāhu akbaru kabīrā
Allah is the Greatest, immensely great
2
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ كَثِيرًا
walḥamdu lillāhi kathīrā
And abundant praise be to Allah
3
وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا
wasubḥānallāhi bukratan wa-aṣīlā
And glory be to Allah in the morning and evening
4
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ هَدٰانٰا لِهٰذٰا
walḥamdu lillāhil ladhī hadānā lihādhā
And praise be to Allah who guided us to this
5
وَمٰا كُنّٰا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْ لٰا أَنْ هَدٰانَا اللَّهُ
wamā kunnā linahtadiya law lā an hadānallāh
And we would not have been guided if Allah had not guided us
6
لَقَدْ جٰاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنٰا بِالْحَقِّ
laqad jā-at rusulu rabbinā bil ḥaqq
Indeed, the messengers of our Lord came with the truth
7
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ
as salāmu `alā rasūlillāhi ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālih
Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, blessings of Allah be upon him and his family
8
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alā amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon the Commander of the Faithful
9
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
as salāmu `alā fāṭimataz zahrā-i sayyidati nisā-il `ālamīn
Peace be upon Fatima al-Zahra, the leader of the women of the worlds
10
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ
as salāmu `alal ḥasani walḥusayn
Peace be upon al-Hasan and al-Husayn
11
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ
as salāmu `alā `aliyyibnil ḥusayn
Peace be upon Ali son of Husayn
12
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
as salāmu `alā muḥammadibni `aliyy
Peace be upon Muhammad son of Ali
13
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ
as salāmu `alā ja`faribni muḥammad
Peace be upon Ja'far son of Muhammad
14
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى مُوْسَى بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ
as salāmu `alā mūsabni ja`far
Peace be upon Musa son of Ja'far
15
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُوسٰى
as salāmu `alā `aliyyibni mūsā
Peace be upon Ali son of Musa
16
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
as salāmu `alā muḥammadibni `aliyy
Peace be upon Muhammad son of Ali
17
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰى عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ
as salāmu `alā `aliyyibni muḥammad
Peace be upon Ali son of Muhammad
18
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ
as salāmu `alal ḥasanibni `aliyy
Peace be upon al-Hasan son of Ali
19
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَى الْخَلَفِ الصَّالِحِ الْمُنْتَظَرِ
as salāmu `alal khalafiṣ ṣāliḥil muntaẓar
Peace be upon the righteous successor, the awaited one
20
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā abā `abdillāh
Peace be upon you, O Abu Abdullah
21
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna rasūlillāh
Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah
22
عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ
`abduka wabnu `abdika wabnu amatik
Your servant, son of your servant, and son of your maidservant
23
اَلْمُوَالِيْ لِوَلِيِّكَ
al muwālī liwaliyyik
Who is loyal to your guardian
24
اَلْمُعَادِيْ لِعَدُوِّكَ
al mu`ādī li`aduwwik
And enemy to your enemy
25
إِسْتَجَارَ بِمَشْهَدِكَ
istajāra bimash-hadik
Seeks protection at your shrine
26
وَتَقَرَّبَ إِلَى اللَّهِ بِقَصْدِكَ
wataqarraba ilallāhi biqaṣdik
And seeks closeness to Allah through visiting you
27
اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ هَدَانِيْ لِوِلايَتِكَ
al ḥamdulillāhil ladhī hadānī liwilāyatik
Praise be to Allah who guided me to your guardianship
28
وَخَصَّنِيْ بِزِيَارَتِكَ
wakhaṣṣanī biziyāratik
And honored me with your visitation
29
وَسَهَّلَ لِيْ قَصْدَكَ
wasahhala lī qaṣdak
And made it easy for me to seek you
30
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ آدَمَ صَفْوَةِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha-ādama ṣafwatillāh
Peace be upon you, O heir of Adam, the chosen one of Allah
31
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ نُوحٍ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha nūḥin nabiyyillāh
Peace be upon you, O heir of Noah, the prophet of Allah
32
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha ibrāhīma khalīlillāh
Peace be upon you, O heir of Abraham, the friend of Allah
33
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُوسٰى كَلِيمِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha mūsā kalīmillāh
Peace be upon you, O heir of Moses, the one who spoke with Allah
34
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ عِيسٰى رُوحِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha `īsā rūḥillāh
Peace be upon you, O heir of Jesus, the spirit of Allah
35
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَبِيبِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha muḥammadin ḥabībillāh
Peace be upon you, O heir of Muhammad, the beloved of Allah
36
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O heir of the Commander of the Faithful
37
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ
as salāmu `alayka yā wāritha fāṭimataz zahrā
Peace be upon you, O heir of Fatima al-Zahra
38
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُصْطَفىٰ
as salāmu `alayka yabna muḥammadinil muṣṭafā
Peace be upon you, O son of Muhammad al-Mustafa
39
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ عَلِيٍّ الْمُرْتَضىٰ
as salāmu `alayka yabna `aliyyinil mur-taḍā
Peace be upon you, O son of Ali al-Murtadha
40
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna fāṭimataz zahrā
Peace be upon you, O son of Fatima al-Zahra
41
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ خَدِيجَةَ الْكُبْرىٰ
as salāmu `alayka yabna khadījatal kubrā
Peace be upon you, O son of Khadija al-Kubra
42
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ثَارَ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ ثَارِهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā thārallāhi wabna thārih
Peace be upon you, O vengeance of Allah and son of His vengeance
43
وَالْوِتْرَ الْمَوْتُورَ
walwitral mawtūr
And the unequaled one whose blood was shed
44
أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قَدْ أَقَمْتَ الصَّلاةَ
ash-hadu annaka qad aqamtaṣ ṣalāh
I bear witness that you established prayer
45
وَ آتَيْتَ الزَّكَاةَ
wa ātaytaz zakāh
And gave zakat
46
وَأَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ
wa-amar-ta bil ma`rūf
And enjoined good
47
وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ
wanahayta `anil munkar
And forbade evil
48
وَأَطَعْتَ اللّٰهَ حَتَّىٰ أَتَاكَ الْيَقِينُ
wa-aṭa`tallāha ḥattā atākal yaqīn
And obeyed Allah until certainty came to you
49
فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ
fala`anallāhu ummatan qatalatk
May Allah curse the nation that killed you
50
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ
wala`anallāhu ummatan ẓalamatk
And may Allah curse the nation that oppressed you
51
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً سَمِعَتْ بِذٰلِكَ فَرَضِيَتْ بِهِ
wala`anallāhu ummatan sami`at bidhālika faraḍiyat bih
And may Allah curse the nation that heard about it and was pleased with it
52
يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
yā mawlāya yā abā `abdillāh
O my master, O Abu Abdullah
53
أُشْهِدُ اللّٰهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ
ush-hidullāha wamalā-ikatah
I call Allah and His angels to witness
54
وَأَنْبِيَاءَهُ وَرُسُلَهُ
wa-anbiyā-ahu warusulah
And His prophets and messengers
55
أَنِّيْ بِكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَبِإِيَابِكُمْ
annī bikum mu-minun wabi-iyābikum
That I believe in you and in your return
56
مُوقِنٌ بِشَرَايِعِ دِينِيْ وَخَوَاتِيمِ عَمَلِي
mūqinun bisharāyi`i dīnī wakhawātīmi `amalī
I am certain in the laws of my religion and the outcomes of my deeds
57
وَمُنْقَلَبِيْ إِلٰى رَبِّي
wamunqalabī ilā rabbī
And my return to my Lord
58
فَصَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ
faṣalawātullāhi `alaykum
So may Allah's blessings be upon you
59
وَعَلَى أَرْوَاحِكُمْ وَعَلَى أَجْسَادِكُمْ
wa`alā ar-wāḥikum wa`alā ajsādikum
And upon your souls and upon your bodies
60
وَعَلَى شَاهِدِكُمْ وَعَلَى غَائِبِكُمْ
wa`alā shāhidikum wa`alā ghā-ibikum
And upon your present and your absent ones
61
وَظَاهِرِكُمْ وَبَاطِنِكُمْ
waẓāhirikum wabāṭinikum
And your apparent and your hidden
62
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna khātamin nabiyyīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the seal of the Prophets
63
وَابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّينَ
wabna sayyidil waṣiyyīn
And son of the master of the successors
64
وَابْنَ إِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِينَ
wabna imāmil muttaqīn
And son of the leader of the pious
65
وَابْنَ قَائِدِ الْغُرِّ الْمُحَجَّلِينَ إِلٰى جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيْمِ
wabna qā-idil ghurril muḥajjalīna ilā jannātin na`īm
And son of the guide of the bright-faced ones to the gardens of bliss
66
وَكَيْفَ لَاتَكُونُ كَذٰلِكَ
wakayfa lātakūnu kadhālik
And how could you not be so
67
وَأَنْتَ بَابُ الْهُدىٰ
wa-anta bābul hudā
When you are the gate of guidance
68
وَإِمَامُ التُّقٰى
wa-imāmut tuqā
And the leader of piety
69
وَالْعُرْوَةُ الْوُثْقٰى
wal`ur-watul wuthqā
And the firm handhold
70
وَالْحُجَّةُ عَلٰى أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا
walḥujjatu `alā ahlid dunyā
And the proof over the people of the world
71
وَخَامِسُ أَصْحَابِ الْكِسَاءِ
wakhāmisu aṣ-ḥābil kisā
And the fifth of the People of the Cloak
72
غَذَتْكَ يَدُ الرَّحْمَةِ
ghadhatka yadur raḥmah
The hand of mercy nourished you
73
وَرَضَعْتَ مِنْ ثَدْيِ الْإِيمَانِ
waraḍa`ta min thadyil īmān
And you were fed from the breast of faith
74
وَرُبِّيتَ فِيْ حِجْرِ الْإِسْلاَمِ
warubbīta fī ḥijril islām
And you were raised in the lap of Islam
75
فَالنَّفْسُ غَيْرُ رَاضِيَةٍ بِفِرَاقِكَ
fan nafsu ghayru rāḍiyatin bifirāqik
So the soul is not content with your separation
76
وَلَا شَاكَّةٍ فِيْ حَيَاتِكَ
walā shākkatin fī ḥayātik
And has no doubt about your life
77
صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ
ṣalawātullāhi `alayk
May Allah's blessings be upon you
78
وَعَلٰى آبَائِكَ وَأَبْنَائِكَ
wa`alā-ābā-ika wa-abnā-ik
And upon your forefathers and your descendants
79
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صَرِيْعَ الْعَبَرَةِ السَّاكِبَةِ
as salāmu `alayka yā ṣarī`al `abaratis sākibah
Peace be upon you, O one for whom tears flow abundantly
80
وَقَرِينَ الْمُصِيبَةِ الرَّاتِبَةِ
waqarīnal muṣībatir rātibah
And companion of continuing tragedy
81
لَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً اسْتَحَلَّتْ مِنْكَ الْمَحَارِمَ
la`anallāhu ummatanistaḥallat minkal maḥārim
May Allah curse the nation that violated your sanctities
82
وَانْتَهَكَتْ فِيكَ حُرْمَةَ الْإِسْلاَمِ
wantahakat fīka ḥur-matal islām
And violated the sanctity of Islam against you
83
فَقُتِلْتَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ مَقْهُورًا
faqutilta ṣallallāhu `alayka maqhūrā
So you were killed, may Allah bless you, oppressed
84
وَأَصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ بِكَ مَوْتُورًا
wa-aṣbaḥa rasūlullāhi ṣallallāhu `alayhi wa ālihi bika mawtūrā
And the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family, became bereaved because of you
85
وَأَصْبَحَ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ بِفَقْدِكَ مَهْجُورًا
wa-aṣbaḥa kitābullāhi bifaqdika mahjūrā
And the Book of Allah became abandoned with your loss
86
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلٰى جَدِّكَ وَأَبِيكَ
as salāmu `alayka wa`alā jaddika wa-abīk
Peace be upon you and upon your grandfather and your father
87
وَأُمِّكَ وَأَخِيكَ
wa-ummika wa-akhīk
And your mother and your brother
88
وَعَلَى الْأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَنِيكَ
wa`alal a-immati min banīk
And upon the Imams from your sons
89
وَعَلَى الْمُسْتَشْهَدِيْنَ مَعَكَ
wa`alal mustash-hadīna ma`ak
And upon those martyred with you
90
وَعَلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْحَافِّينَ بِقَبْرِكَ
wa`alal malā-ikatil ḥāffīna biqabrik
And upon the angels surrounding your grave
91
وَالشَّاهِدِيْنَ لِزُوَّارِكَ
wash shāhidīna lizuwwārik
And witnessing your visitors
92
اَلْمُؤَمِّنِيْنَ بِالْقَبُولِ عَلٰى دُعَاءِ شِيعَتِكَ
al mu-amminīna bil qabūli `alā du`ā-i shī`atik
Those who say "Amen" to the prayers of your followers
93
وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
was salāmu `alayka waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And peace be upon you and Allah's mercy and His blessings
94
بِأَبِيْ أَنْتَ وَأُمِّيْ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
bi-abī anta wa-ummī yabna rasūlillāh
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O son of the Messenger of Allah
95
بِأَبِيْ أَنْتَ وَأُمِّيْ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
bi-abī anta wa-ummī yā abā `abdillāh
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Abu Abdullah
96
لَقَدْ عَظُمَتِ الرَّزِيَّةُ
laqad `aẓumatir raziyyah
Indeed the calamity has been great
97
وَجَلَّتِ الْمُصِيبَةُ بِكَ
wajallatil muṣībatu bik
And the tragedy with you has been enormous
98
عَلَيْنَا وَعَلٰى جَمِيْعِ أَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
`alaynā wa`alā jamī`i ahlis samāwāti wal-ar-ḍ
Upon us and upon all the people of the heavens and earth
99
فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً أَسْرَجَتْ وَأَلْجَمَتْ
fala`anallāhu ummatan asrajat wa-aljamat
So may Allah curse the nation that saddled and bridled
100
وَتَهَيَّأَتْ لِقِتَالِكَ
watahayya-at liqitālik
And prepared to fight you
101
يَا مَوْلَايَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِاللَّهِ
yā mawlāya yā abā `abdillāh
O my master, O Abu Abdullah
102
قَصَدْتُ حَرَمَكَ
qaṣadtu ḥaramak
I have come to your sanctuary
103
وَأَتَيْتُ مَشْهَدَكَ
wa-ataytu mash-hadak
And I have come to your shrine
104
أَسْأَلُ اللّٰهَ بِالشَّأْنِ الَّذِيْ لَكَ عِنْدَهُ
as-alullāha bishha-nil ladhī laka `indah
I ask Allah by the status you have with Him
105
وَبِالْمَحَلِّ الَّذِيْ لَكَ لَدَيْهِ
wabil maḥallil ladhī laka ladayh
And by the position you have before Him
106
أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
an yuṣalliya `alā muḥammadin wa āli muḥammad
To send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad
107
وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَنِيْ مَعَكُمْ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
wa-an yaj`alanī ma`akum fid dunyā wal-ākhirah
And to make me with you in this world and the hereafter
108
بِمَنِّهِ وَجُودِهِ وَكَرَمِهِ
bimannihi wajūdihi wakaramih
By His favor, His generosity, and His kindness
Ziyarah of Ali ibn Husayn [peace be upon him]
109
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna rasūlillāh
Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah
110
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yabna nabiyyillāh
Peace be upon you, O son of the Prophet of Allah
111
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna amīril mu-minīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful
112
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ الشَّهِيدِ
as salāmu `alayka yabnal ḥusaynish shahīd
Peace be upon you, O son of Husayn the martyr
113
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الشَّهِيدُ ابْنُ الشَّهِيدِ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhash shahīdubnush shahīd
Peace be upon you, O martyr, son of a martyr
114
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْمَظْلُومُ ابْنُ الْمَظْلُومِ
as salāmu `alayka ayyuhal maẓlūmubnul maẓlūm
Peace be upon you, O oppressed one, son of the oppressed
115
لَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ
la`anallāhu ummatan qatalatk
May Allah curse the nation that killed you
116
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ
wala`anallāhu ummatan ẓalamatk
And may Allah curse the nation that oppressed you
117
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً سَمِعَتْ بِذٰلِكَ فَرَضِيَتْ بِهِ
wala`anallāhu ummatan sami`at bidhālika faraḍiyat bih
And may Allah curse the nation that heard about it and was pleased with it
118
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ
as salāmu `alayka yā mawlāy
Peace be upon you, O my master
119
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ وَلِيِّهِ
as salāmu `alayka yā waliyyallāhi wabna waliyyih
Peace be upon you, O guardian of Allah and son of His guardian
120
لَقَدْ عَظُمَتِ الْمُصِيبَةُ
laqad `aẓumatil muṣībah
Indeed the tragedy has been great
121
وَجَلَّتِ الرَّزِيَّةُ بِكَ
wajallatir raziyyatu bik
And the calamity with you has been enormous
122
عَلَيْنَا وَعَلٰى جَمِيْعِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
`alaynā wa`alā jamī`il mu-minīn
Upon us and upon all the believers
123
فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ
fala`anallāhu ummatan qatalatk
So may Allah curse the nation that killed you
124
وَأَبْرَأُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَإِلَيْكَ مِنْهُمْ فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ
wa-abra-u ilallāhi wa-ilayka minhum fid dunyā wal-ākhirah
And I disassociate myself to Allah and to you from them in this world and the hereafter
125
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ وَأَحِبَّاءَهُ
as salāmu `alaykum yā awliyā-allāhi wa-aḥibbā-ah
Peace be upon you, O guardians of Allah and His beloved ones

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَصْفِيَاءَ اللَّهِ وَأَوِدَّاءَهُ
as salāmu `alaykum yā aṣfiyā-allāhi wa-awiddā-ah
Peace be upon you, O chosen ones of Allah and His intimate friends
127
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ دِينِ اللَّهِ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra dīnillāh
Peace be upon you, O helpers of the religion of Allah
128
وَأَنْصَارَ نَبِيِّهِ
wa-anṣāra nabiyyih
And helpers of His Prophet
129
وَأَنْصَارَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
wa-anṣāra amīril mu-minīn
And helpers of the Commander of the Faithful
130
وَأَنْصَارَ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ
wa-anṣāra fāṭimata sayyidati nisā-il `ālamīn
And helpers of Fatima, the leader of the women of the worlds
131
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ أَبِيْ مُحَمَّدٍ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra abī muḥammad
Peace be upon you, O helpers of Abu Muhammad
132
اَلْحَسَنِ الْوَلِيِّ النَّاصِحِ
al ḥasanil waliyyin nāṣiḥ
Al-Hasan, the guardian, the sincere advisor
133
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ يَا أَنْصَارَ أَبِيْ عَبْدِاللَّهِ
as salāmu `alaykum yā anṣāra abī `abdillāh
Peace be upon you, O helpers of Abu Abdullah
134
اَلْحُسَيْنِ الشَّهِيدِ الْمَظْلُومِ
al ḥusaynish shahīdil maẓlūm
Al-Husayn, the martyr, the oppressed
135
صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
ṣalawātullāhi `alayhim ajma`īn
May Allah's blessings be upon them all
136
بِأَبِيْ أَنْتُمْ وَأُمِّي
bi-abī antum wa-ummī
May my father and mother be sacrificed for you
137
طِبْتُمْ وَطَابَتِ الْأَرْضُ الَّتِيْ فِيهَا دُفِنْتُمْ
ṭibtum waṭābatil ar-ḍul latī fīhā dufintum
You are pure and the earth in which you are buried is pure
138
وَفُزْتُمْ وَاللَّهِ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
wafuztum wallāhi fawzan `aẓīmā
And you have achieved, by Allah, a great success
139
يَا لَيْتَنِيْ كُنْتُ مَعَكُمْ فَأَفُوزَ مَعَكُمْ
yā laytanī kuntu ma`akum fa-afūza ma`akum
If only I had been with you so I could succeed with you
140
فِيْ الْجِنَانِ مَعَ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِيْنَ
fil jināni ma`ash shuhadā-i waṣ ṣāliḥīn
In Paradise with the martyrs and the righteous
141
وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقًا
waḥasuna ūla-ika rafīqā
And excellent are those as companions
142
وَالسَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
was salāmu `alaykum waraḥmatullāhi wabarakātuh
And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings
Ziyarah of 'Abbas ibn Ali [peace be upon him]

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا الْفَضْلِ
as salāmu `alayka yā abal faḍl
Peace be upon you, O Abu al-Fadl
144
اَلْعَبَّاسَ بْنَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
al `abbāsibna amīril mu-minīn
Al-Abbas son of the Commander of the Faithful
145
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّينَ
as salāmu `alayka yabna sayyidil waṣiyyīn
Peace be upon you, O son of the master of the successors
146
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ أَوَّلِ الْقَوْمِ إِسْلاَمًا
as salāmu `alayka yabna awwalil qawmi islāmā
Peace be upon you, O son of the first of the people to embrace Islam
147
وَأَقْدَمِهِمْ إِيمَانًا
wa-aqdamihim īmānā
And the earliest of them in faith
148
وَأَقْوَمِهِمْ بِدِينِ اللَّهِ
wa-aqwamihim bidīnillāh
And the most steadfast of them in the religion of Allah
149
وَأَحْوَطِهِمْ عَلَى الْإِسْلاَمِ
wa-aḥwaṭihim `alal islām
And the most protective of them over Islam
150
أَشْهَدُ لَقَدْ نَصَحْتَ لِلّٰهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِأَخِيكَ
ash-hadu laqad naṣaḥta lillāhi walirasūlihi wali-akhīk
I bear witness that you were sincere to Allah, His Messenger, and your brother
151
فَنِعْمَ الْأَخُ الْمُوَاسِي
fani`mal akhul muwāsī
So what an excellent, consoling brother you were
152
فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ
fala`anallāhu ummatan qatalatk
May Allah curse the nation that killed you
153
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ
wala`anallāhu ummatan ẓalamatk
And may Allah curse the nation that oppressed you
154
وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً اسْتَحَلَّتْ مِنْكَ الْمَحَارِمَ
wala`anallāhu ummatanistaḥallat minkal maḥārim
And may Allah curse the nation that violated your sanctities
155
وَانْتَهَكَتْ فِيْ قَتْلِكَ حُرْمَةَ الْإِسْلاَمِ
wantahakat fī qatlika ḥur-matal islām
And violated the sanctity of Islam in killing you
156
فَنِعْمَ الْأَخُ الصَّابِرُ الْمُجَاهِدُ
fani`mal akhuṣ ṣābirul mujāhid
What an excellent patient, striving brother you were
157
اَلْمُحَامِيْ النَّاصِرُ
al muḥāmin nāṣir
The defender, the helper
158
وَالْأَخُ الدَّافِعُ عَنْ أَخِيهِ
wal-akhud dāfi`u `an akhīh
And the brother who protected his brother
159
اَلْمُجِيبُ إِلٰى طَاعَةِ رَبِّهِ
al mujību ilā ṭā`ati rabbih
Who responded to the obedience of his Lord
160
اَلرَّاغِبُ فِيمَا زَهِدَ فِيهِ غَيْرُهُ
ar rāghibu fīmā zahida fīhi ghayruh
Who desired what others abstained from
161
مِنَ الثَّوَابِ الْجَزِيلِ وَالثَّنَاءِ الْجَمِيلِ
minath thawābil jazīli wath thanā-il jamīl
Of abundant reward and beautiful praise
162
وَأَلْحَقَكَ اللَّهُ بِدَرَجَةِ آبَائِكَ
wa-alḥaqakallāhu bidarajati-ābā-ik
And may Allah join you with the rank of your forefathers
163
فِيْ دَارِ النَّعِيْمِ
fī dārin na`īm
In the abode of bliss
